Travel + Leisure Magazine has voted the Royal Mansour Marrakech the Best Hotel in North Africa and the Middle East. The announcement came shortly after Forbes Magazine distinguished the property as one of the top 50 ultimate luxury destinations in the world. Conde Nast Traveler also awarded the property Best Urban Hotel for 2019.

The legendary Royal Mansour hotel was commissioned by Morocco’s King Mohammed VI. It was born out of the desire to share with the world, the Northern Kingdom’s legendary hospitality and extraordinary design traditions.

The boutique hotel is located a 10-minute walk from the bustling UNESCO certified Jemma El Fna Square however it exists in a world of its own. The prestigious Royal Mansour takes visitors into a timeless atmosphere with enchanting decor. It is protected by the ochre walls of the Imperial City. From the hotel’s terrace, it is possible to see the majestic snow-covered Atlas Mountains and overlook the exclusive 5-hectare estate. The property’s maze-like alleys were designed to mirror the Marrakech medina. It has an on-site 2500 sqm spa, 53 independent riads equipped with one to four bedrooms and a private pool. Each villa is uniquely decorated with a cozy lounge, shaded patio, and elegant bathrooms.

The Royal Mansour also boasts three signature restaurants led by the talented chef Yannick Alléno. The property’s Les Grandes Tables du Monde is considered one of the world’s best restaurants. The Mansour hotel is also revered for its grand size outdoor swimming pool and royal spa. Its Spanish garden landscape was designed by architect Luis Vallejo. Trickling fountains, sunbeds, lush venation, and impressive greenery are all elements that make the Royal garden a premier destination in the Ochre City.
