Essaouira’s celebrates the 19th edition of the Festival des Alizés from April 25th – 28th, 2019. The musical concerts offered will showcase some of the finest sounds in classical music. This year’s program includes Beethoven’s L’Impetueux, Vilvaldi’s Le Glorieux, Mendelssohn Le Fievreux, Shubert Le Poete, and Brahms L’ Humaniste. The festival will close with an afternoon of Les Douches Folies de Satie. Several of the performances at the Festival des Alizés will take place in Essouira’s cultural house, Bayt Al Dakyra, a museum attached to historical research, cultural and spiritual center. Smaller concerts performed by Morocco’s youth and some international artists will take place in Essaouira’s church.
