Morocco’s National Tourist Office has released the Beauty of Morocco video on its Facebook page. The Morocco Video celebrates the Splendors of Morocco and Marrakech and the country of Morocco’s natural wonders and culture. The Morocco video was created to celebrate the 24th General Assembly of the United Nations World Tourism Organization (UNWTO), scheduled for 2021 in Morocco. UNWTO is an international nonprofit organization that promotes tourism as a driver of economic growth, development, and environmental sustainability. Established in 1975, UNWTO emphasizes quality and efficiency in tourism education and training.

Morocco’s Minister of Tourism, Mohammed Sajid, said: “the chance to host the UNWTO is a great opportunity for the country to further cement Morocco as a leader in world tourism.”

The Morocco video highlights the diverse landscapes and climate of Morocco. Represented in visual vignettes, are the Sahara Desert where nomadic tribes reign to the incomparable vibrancy found in Marrakech’s UNESCO certified medina, to the mesmerizing Islamic architecture reflected in world-class hotels like King Mohammed VI’s personally designed Royal Mansour. Marrakech is also home to the famous botanical Majorelle Gardens and Yves Saint Laurent’s fashion Museum. The Morocco video captures the essence of a new and old Morocco. It highlights Morocco’s popularity as a touristic destination and an incredible diversity where traditional and contemporary arts and culture collide.
