Morocco’s King Mohammed VI & Jordan’s King Abdullah II Host Economic Forum in Amman

On March 27th, 2019 the Jordanian King Abdullah II met with Morocco’s King Mohammed VI at the Royal Palace in Casablanca to discuss finding solutions to Middle Eastern conflicts. Their visit also yielded agreements to collaborate together in the energy, agriculture, and tourism sectors.

As a result of their discussions, a two-day economic forum will be held in Amman from June 10-11, 2019. The Professional Group of Banks of Morocco (GPBM) and Morocco’s Employers Association (CGEM) will organize this Morocco-Jordon joint economic forum aimed to strengthen economic and trade ties between the countries.

The Amman economic forum will be complemented with a plenary session and workshops on several sectors including tourism, agriculture, financial services, construction, renewable energies, real estates, and the pharmaceutical industry. There will also be off location trips to industrial zones and the Dead Sea.
