Royal Air Maroc made headlines this week with the debut of a nonstop flight from Miami to Casablanca; the flight began operating on April 3rd. This is the first direct flight from Miami to Africa launched in over two decades. The flight will run from Miami International Airport to Casablanca Mohamed Airport. The flights will operate three times a week, on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays. The new route hope to attract more tourism to Morocco from South Florida and to offer its clientele easier connectivity and shorter travel times. The route takes 8 hours; tickets will start at $680 for a round trip ticket.
