On December 1, 2019, the Oberoi, a 5 Star Luxury Hotel, will open in Marrakech. Known for offering some of the most luxurious travel and lifestyle experiences worldwide, the Oberoi Group’s project in Marrakech is their first in Morocco. The luxury property boasts bespoke Andalusian design and is located on twenty-eight acres of North African orchards and olive groves with century-old roots this luxury hotel will grace the countryside of Marrakech. The main courtyard entrance was inspired by the 14th century Ben Youssef Medersa, a historic Quranic learning center in Marrakech which was once the largest in North Africa.
The Oberoi will have 84 spacious room and extravagant and villas for guests to indulge. Each will have a private pool, a garden along with views of the snow-peaked Atlas Mountains. The design elements have been chosen to reflect the subtle palette of muted ivory and burnished gold. The rooms, hotel interior, and design will highlight it’s Moroccan location and feature ornate design elements.
The Oberoi will also have an onsite spa and multiple restaurants:
The Siniman restaurant will offer Moroccan cuisine using fresh produce from its organic garden and indigenous ingredients.
The Tamimt is an indoor dining experience with a view of a gourmet show kitchen; the Azur offers a specially curated menu of light and healthy meals next to views of the grand pool, the Grand Canal water feature, and citrus and olive gardens.
The Vue is an elegant bar and serves fine wines, champagnes, single malts, expertly mixed classic, and contemporary and signature cocktails.
