Abderrazak Hamdallah, a 29-year-old Moroccan striker for the Al-Nassar team has been crowned the world’s top scorer in 2019. In a recent game against Al Feiha, he scored his 57th goal. Bayern Munich’s Robert Lewandowski came in second at 54 goals and Barcelona’s Lionel Messi reached 50 goals.
Hamdallah began playing football professionally in 2010 for Morocco’s top league Olympique Safi, however, his passion started during childhood. “I played football in the street with other children from Safi and the Marrakech region. As a teenager, I practiced almost every day after school and all weekend.”
Hamadallah is particularly admired for his strategic attacks, composure on the field, and excellent ball control. His high technical and tactical abilities are the reason his fans have dubbed him “the trick striker.”
Hamadallah announced retirement from international games in November 2019.
