AMIE’s decision to participate in the Pure Origin Expo is timely and strategic for Morocco. The Pure Origin event has evolved into the UK’s number one destination for sourcing, manufacturing, and cost-effective solutions for buyers to meet with international manufacturers. According to Ernst & Young’s 2018 Attractiveness Program Africa report, Morocco is Africa’s most attractive country for foreign investment.
AMDIE is a Rabat-based Investment and Trade Agency run by the Kingdom of Morocco. It is in charge of promoting national and foreign investment, and exportation of Morocco’s good and services. Moulay Hafid El Alamy, the Minister of Industry, Investment, Trade, and Digital Economy for AMDIE, expressed excitement that the organization will launch a new website to better communicate it’s a presence on a global scale.
