Artifacts
83 museum pieces located at the National Museum of Oudaya – Rabat and ten pieces of artifacts at the National Museum of History and Civilizations, have been placed under the protection. The project is led by the Commission of Restriction and Arrangement of the Culture Sector and has goals to protect Morocco’s national heritage, antiques and historical artifacts. Support has also been extended to the Marrakech- Safi regino where 15 objects between Essaouira and Safi are being preserved. Also included is the Northern Moroccan regions of Tangier, Tetouan, and Al Hoceima, where over 40 artifacts are being attended to.
