The Ritz Carlton will be opening a new property in Tamuda Bay. The property will be an upscale, luxury resort that celebrates Moroccan design and natural beauty through a unique selection of furnishings and decor. Tamuda Bay is located 10 miles north of Tetouan, and an hours drive from Morocco’s literary capital, Tangier. The location of the Ritz Carlton is along the Mediterranean Coastline which boasts long stretches of golden sand, crystal clear water, and over 300 glorious days of sunshine. The Ritz Carlton Resort Property will include a beach club, 18-hole golf course, and spacious rooms with salons, restaurants and a host of luxury amenities for guests. The official opening is yet to be announced however is scheduled for 2020.
The Ritz is one of five Forbes listed properties to schedule a 2020 launch in Northern Morocco. The St. Regis will also open in Tamuda Bay. Other luxury brand hotels such as the Fairmont in Taghazout Bay will also open in 2020. The Fairmont in Taghazout will feature 155 sea view rooms, a 27,000 square feet meeting space, a spa and gym, and 4 luxury restaurants. The Antara Al Houara Resort will open in late 2020 as well with 150 rooms, suites, and villas with ocean-views as well a premium golf course. Rabat, Morocco’s capital and the administrative city will also soon have the legendary Ritz built next to the Dar es Salam Golf Course. Among its highlights will include restaurants, lounges, a spa, and a hammam.
