The Mystical Circus Music & Arts Festival is bringing it’s fire eaters, jugglers, acrobats and other mystical performers to Marrakech. From October 18-21, 2019 travelers to Morocco are invited to take part in this artistic ecosystem of art expositions, artisans and DJs playing electro beats.
The three-day experience will take place in a secret location in Marrakech and be marked in themes. Night one is the Industrial Night. Visitors can expect an energizing atmosphere with abundant percussions reminiscent of Berlin’s underground music scene. The second evening entitled The Relaxing Journey is intended to revitalize. Harmonic blends, tranquil melodies, and a serene atmosphere are all on the agenda for day two. For the finale, the Spirit Connection Night will introduce shamans and drumbeats.
LARAJ (Yassine Rajouani) will open the festival. He will perform a mix of Industrial Techno and Post Punk. Since age 17, the DJ has been inspired by Morocco’s techno scene. He began mixing music at Agadir’s techno parties three years ago. Today he is the founder of Parade, a Moroccan collective that was created to give techno a greater voice in Morocco. LARAJ is based in Casablanca where he collaborates with the Mindless Collective, pioneers in Morocco’s underground techno scene. He incorporates EMB, Post Punk, and new wave sub-genres.
Early Bird prices are 350 MAD ($36 USD) and end at the end of July. The prices will continue to rise as the festival date approaches. At the gate, the tickets will cost 700 MAD ($70 USD).
