Institut Français de Marrakech will host the first meeting of Blog’ in café this January 30, 2020, from 6pm-9pm. This is the seventh meeting of the organization. The workshop will be led by Blog’in member Ilham Mirnezami, who will raise the topic “The creative and cultural industries, an engine of development in Africa in the digital age”. Attendees will be invited to discuss how artistic projects contribute to Africa’s development in the context of IT. The meeting will also discuss the various stages and processes involved in a cultural project. Ilham Echchaddadi Mirnezami is a cultural consultant and the creator of Melting-Culture, founder of Equations Nomades.
The Blon’In Cafe is a project launched in September 2017 by Meriem Benmhamed, a mediator and cultural blogger. The nonprofit organization regularly hosts meetings with bloggers, journalists, editors, storytellers. The events are aimed to bridge the IT world with Morocco’s cultural players. They have several events scheduled at the Institute of Frances in Marrakech for 2020.
