On June 8th -16th, history will take place in Morocco as the northern kingdom hosts the first Morocco Motorcycle Tour (MMT).
The MMT circuit will begin in Dakhla, covering a distance of 5,000 km and is divided into 9 stages. Riders will pass through over 30 cities including Lâayoune, Tan Tan, Guelmim, Erfoud, then Oujda, El Hoceima, Tetuan, Tangier, Fez, Ifrane, Khenifra, Beni Mellal, Marrakech, with a final touch down in Agadir. The return trip will take participants from Agadir to Casablanca, via the highways to Essaouira and Safi.
Morocco’s Motorcycle Tour is lauded as the largest national meeting dedicated to motorcycle riding and one of the most comprehensive in Africa and the Arab world.
MMT originally only included Marrakech’s Dada Riders, the kingdom’s first female bike club however now riders and motorcycle teams from around the world will participate.
The MMT is supported by the Moroccan Royal Federation of Motorcycling. Together they are working to highlight overlooked areas of Morocco’s economy and showcase the country’s diverse landscapes.
