The Yves Saint Laurent Museum will be featuring the photographic series “A Dreamed Garden” by Vietnamese photographer Ngoc Minh Ngoon on December 19, 2019, at 6:30 pm. This is the second YSL hosted photography exhibition to date. The last was in 1992 for the inaugural exhibition of “30 years of the fashion house in Marrakech” by German photographer André Rau. The upcoming exhibit will explore botanicals, gardens, and the intersections between art and culture and history, culture and nature. A “Dreamed Garden” is a collaborative work with the Italian writer and botanist Umberto Pasti. Together Ngoon and Pasti co-created the book “A Garden of Dreams”

“In May 2015, I briefly visited Rohuna for the first time. Umberto Pasti then asked me to collaborate with him and tell the story of this special place,“ said Ngoc Minh Ngo.

ON December 20, 2019, at 3 pm there will also be a follow-up conference at the Faculty of Sciences Semlalia Marrakech on Friday. The discourse will look at Pasti’s observations of Moroccan flora.

The “A Dreamed Garden” exhibit will run through September 23, 2020.
