Inwi, Morocco’s third-largest telecommunication company after Maroc Telecom and Orangecom won the African Gaming Award. The announcement took place during Paris Games Week on October 31, 2019, and demonstrates how the Casablanca based IT communicator is a leading innovator within the industry.
Paris Game Week co-organizer Ivan Nayfeld, stated: “We see Morocco and the African continent with great potential in e-sport and gaming. Inwi’s commitment to Moroccan and African gamers and developers is in line with our own vision to catalyze this new industry worldwide.”
Inwi has been working with gamers, video game developers, and IT startups since 2012. It is the only Moroccan game innovator that dedicates a platform to creating solely Moroccan games and has carved out a niche in e-sport. Paris Games Week is ranked by the video game industry as a Top 3 Show.
