American Airlines (AA) has teamed with up with Royal Air Maroc to offer several new routes. Highlighted in this agenda are the first-ever flights to Africa. In a statement, AA’s vice president of network and schedule planning said, ” Our customers and team members have been asking when we’re going to start service to Africa… this is only the beginning.”
Starting June 2020, Philadelphia “the city of brotherly love,” will offer travelers nonstop flights to Casablanca. Flights will be offered 3 times per week. The city first made international headlines for Michael Curtiz’s classic romance drama Casablanca. Today the Moroccan urban center attracts travelers for its art deco architecture, world-class food, and live events like the annual Jazzablanca summer festival.
Additional routes will include those from Chicago’s O’Hare International Airport to Krakow, Budapest, and Prague. These will commence from August 12th, 2019. In the autumn, AA will bring back the canceled route from Dallas-Fort Worth to Tel Aviv.
